Love Bites® Respectful Relationships Education
Love Bites Junior & Senior Facilitators
Play and Beyond is proud to have trained Love Bites Junior and Love Bites Senior facilitators, enabling us to deliver this nationally recognised respectful relationships education program developed by NAPCAN.
Love Bites empowers young people with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to develop safe, healthy and respectful relationships. Using engaging, interactive and evidence-informed activities, the program encourages participants to think critically, communicate effectively and make informed decisions about their relationships.
Love Bites Junior (Years 7–9)
Love Bites Junior is designed for young people aged approximately 11–14 years and supports students as they explore:
Identity and emotions
Healthy friendships and relationships
Consent and personal boundaries
Respectful behaviours
Gender stereotypes
Online safety
Conflict resolution
Standing up for themselves and others
The program is delivered progressively across Years 7, 8 and 9, with each stage building on previous learning.
Love Bites Senior (Years 10–12)
Love Bites Senior is designed for young people aged approximately 15–17 years and uses a trauma-responsive, strengths-based approach to explore:
Building respectful relationships
Gender stereotypes and their impact
Recognising unhealthy and abusive relationships
Relationships, sex and consent
Speaking up, supporting others and creating positive change
The program creates a safe space where young people can learn, reflect and develop lifelong relationship skills.
Our Approach
At Play and Beyond, we are passionate about helping young people build respectful relationships before harmful patterns become established. As trained Love Bites facilitators, we deliver workshops that are engaging, trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate, supporting schools and community organisations to foster safer, healthier and more respectful communities.
Love Bites workshops can be delivered in schools, community organisations and youth settings. If you would like to discuss bringing the program to your school or organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
