Specialisation: NDIS Navigation and Early Childhood Support
Hi, I’m Bridgette!
With nearly 20 years of experience in the early years sector, I am passionate about supporting children and families through an individualised, strengths-based approach. As an Admin, Support Coordinator and Allied Health Assistant at Play and Beyond, I enjoy helping families feel confident and supported as they navigate services, build their child’s functional skills, and access the supports they need.
I have extensive experience supporting children with developmental delay, disability and neurodivergence, as well as families navigating complex life circumstances, including trauma and vulnerability. I have experience supporting families to understand and navigate the NDIS, connect with appropriate services, and access supports that align with their child’s individual needs and goals.
I aim to work collaboratively with families and professionals to strengthen skills, build confidence, and support positive outcomes across home, education and community environments. I am particularly passionate about supporting parents and carers, including those experiencing mental health challenges or carer burnout, and assisting families to connect with appropriate services and community supports.
I also have experience facilitating parent-child education groups and play-based programs that support school readiness and development across emotional, social, communication, motor and cognitive areas. I have a special interest in supporting families navigating neurodivergence and helping children build independence, confidence and participation in everyday life.
Outside of my professional role, I am a proud mum of three and enjoy adventure, spending time in nature, and camping with my family and our fur baby.
